Awards and Grants

I have been fortunate to receive a range of direct support for my work both from inside the university and from external funding sources. In the past three years, I have received external funding from the National Endowment for the Humanities, The MacArthur Foundation and Adobe Systems; internally, I have received repeated funding from the USC Provost’s Arts & Humanities and Technology Enhanced Learning initiatives, as well as the James H. Zumberge Research and Innovation fund. My teaching efforts have been recognized with a nomination by the USC Parents Association and with the 2009 Provost’s Teaching with Technology award.
